EastLake is supported financially by people who’ve cheerfully chosen to make us their church home. Everything we do is a direct result of their financial sacrifices and we do our very best to be good stewards of everything we have.

“But just as you excel in everything...see that you also excel in this grace of giving.” - 2 Corinthians 8:7
Giving is a form of worship, not a form of torture. We feel like the Bible clearly calls all of us to be good stewards in every area of our life - including our finances. Your giving allows for God’s work to be done as you are faithful to his calling to give back.
The goal is not a huge stockpile of money in the church’s bank account, or a huge building with baristas and bowling alleys, but a group of people with a healthy perspective on the role of money (as a tool, not an idol) in their life.
We believe financial stewardship is found in taking “steps towards generous living”.
We value excellence in our environments and are willing to do whatever it takes to communicate the person and teachings of Jesus with ultimate clarity - because we believe it’s the most important thing we could possibly be a part of.
That being said, we are committed to operating with a “do more with less” mentality in everything that we do. We also consider the church to not be exempt from the generosity ladder in its operation - that’s why we’re committed to tithing on OUR income (to global and local outreach) and being a generous community. To ask something of our people that we wouldn’t be willing to do ourselves seems inauthentic.
Every single week. It's our small way of saying "thanks for checking us out". You can make a difference in the world simply by showing up. Track our progress here.
Yes. Provided we have your up-to-date information you’ll receive:
- a letter confirming your first time gift
- quarterly statements via e-mail
- a year end statement via mail
Absolutely. Many people prefer this option because of its simplicity - you won’t have to remember whether you gave this month or get behind when you’re on a trip or miss a weekend service. There’s something to be said for pre-deciding your financial commitments too. You can choose the frequency of your giving and the day you’d like it to be processed by marking one of the giving envelopes.
